Appleseed's has been serving women in the prime of their lives for over 60 years, offering high-quality apparel and modern updates to classic styles for women.   What you'll do:  Lead the Inventory Management function for the portfolio of Appleseed's brands - Appleseed's, Tog, Norm Thompson, Wintersilks, Sahalie. Lead a team of Managers and Analysts in the prediction of demand and margin patterns in pursuit of defining requiredinventory levels throughout the entire product lifecycle Responsible for developing inventory strategies for the brand in partnership with cross-functional leaders from Merchandising, Marketing, Sourcing and Finance Collaborate with the cross-enterprise leadership team to develop modernized processes, tools and capabilities Insure the timely execution of the pre and in season planning processes Ensure all inventory forecasts supportchannel, division, category and fiscal demand plans, as well as comply with open-to-buy constraints Collaborate with Sourcing partners to provide buy strategies that support private label penetration goals and average unit cost budgets with reasonable minimum order quantities Maintain management approval process to oversee alignment of purchase order quantities with product forecasts and open-to-buy and authorize all purchase orders, backorder cancellations and changes to item status Ensure execution of key customer-facing goals including initial and final fill rate, backorder and sold-out rates Proactively develop and maintain appropriate time and action calendars for all key inventory functions Hire, develop and mentor all members of the inventory team Manage the inventory liquidation process by optimizing sell-thru of obsolete product through all channels/vehicles (e.g., package inserts, sale books, sale pages, website) while maximizing margin recovery   What you'll need: Bachelor's degree in Business A minimum of 10 years of increasing responsibility in merchandise planning and forecasting Experience driving inventory planning in a multi-channel environment Has demonstrated success leading inventory for a complex multi-brand business; and has experience leading inventory teams in a matrixed organization. Experience in effectively planning and executing inventory strategies Ability to develop and retain superior organizational talent through coaching, teaching and mentoring Ability to make operational decisions by analyzing data in a timely manner to drive sales and margin Outstanding communication skills with the ability to impact and guide relationships from executive to entry level Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and cross-brands Strong leadership skills to communicate and drive business plans that reinforce company culture, champion projects and initiatives, improve sales and gain market share to maximize EBITA

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
